CLInical Psychologist

Adina Korn, PhD

About

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. In my practice, I focus on you, the person, with your particular set of strengths and struggles, rather than merely treating specific symptoms or diagnoses. Together we will determine how to maximize those strengths, and find ways to remove any obstacles that might be standing in your way.  While I have post-doctoral training in psychoanalysis, my approach is broader and more eclectic in nature, enabling me to provide each individual, or relationship, with what will be most beneficial.

Education

Bachelor of Arts, Barnard College. PhD, Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. Psychoanalytic Training, Suffolk Institute of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Mindfulness Certification, Little Flower Children’s Yoga.

Consultation

Finding the right therapist can be daunting. Sometimes, it’s best to set up a phone consultation or an initial appointment to see what feels right to you.

Life can be excessively challenging at times, you don’t have to feel alone.

I welcome the opportunity to open a dialogue with you about how to untangle it all.
